Student Educator – English Language Instructor

Position Overview

EduCompany is inviting motivated Education students to join our Future Ready Educators Programme as Student English Language Instructors.

The programme has been designed to give emerging educators meaningful, practical experience in modern online education while they complete their formal studies. Student Educators work with learners in an international online environment and develop the professional, teaching and digital skills required for today's education landscape.

This is not a casual online tutoring opportunity. We are looking for students who are serious about education, committed to their professional development and interested in building a career as an educator.

Key Responsibilities

As a Student Educator, you will:

• Deliver engaging, well-prepared online English lessons to learners

• Create a positive, supportive and professional learning environment

• Follow EduCompany's curriculum, teaching methodology and lesson requirements

• Prepare appropriately for scheduled lessons

• Adapt your teaching approach to meet individual learner needs

• Monitor learner participation and progress

• Provide appropriate feedback and support to learners

• Maintain accurate lesson and learner records

• Communicate professionally with EduCompany and its clients

• Attend scheduled lessons reliably and punctually

• Participate in training, professional development and quality-assurance activities

• Continuously develop your teaching and digital education skills

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are currently studying towards a B.Ed, PGCE or another recognised Education qualification

• Have a genuine interest in becoming a professional educator

• Have excellent spoken and written English

• Are confident communicating with learners in English

• Demonstrate professionalism, maturity and reliability

• Are comfortable working independently in an online environment

• Have good digital literacy and are confident using computers and online platforms

• Have reliable internet access and suitable equipment for online teaching

• Have a suitable, quiet and professional teaching environment

• Can commit to a minimum of 25 hours of teaching availability per week

• Are able to balance their academic responsibilities with a substantial teaching commitment

• Are willing to receive feedback and continuously develop their teaching practice
